Welcome to the beginning of something close to my heart — a space where stories unfold, messes are made, and moments are captured one road trip (and sketch) at a time.

I’m Cat, a teacher by profession, an artist by soul, and a mom — 24/7, no off button, wouldn’t have it any other way. Somewhere between lesson plans, ball hockey games, and dabbing paint onto every surface I can find, I realized that travel was becoming our family’s way of pressing pause — and, somehow, play — all at once.

This blog is born from that space. The in-betweens. The weekends away. The spontaneous detours and well-planned escapes. It’s where I’ll share the trails we hike, the coffee shops we find, the restaurants and micro breweries, the art we make in motel rooms and patios, and the little lessons that come with traveling as a creative mom with a curious kid and a foodie husband.
